About Dr. Curiel
Dr. Thomas Curiel is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implant Center. After finishing dental school and oral surgery residency in Philadelphia, Dr. Curiel moved to Fresno to be closer to family and friends.
He finds the ability to help people extremely rewarding and takes pride in making patients feel comfortable during their office visits. Inspired to benefit the lives of others, he enjoys turning bad situations into good ones and provides compassionate and effective treatment.
Dr. Curiel is excited to be a part of the team at Fresno Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Dental Implant Center because they treat patients like family and strive to always provide the highest quality care in the safest environment. Dr. Curiel is proud to be on staff at numerous hospitals throughout the Central Valley to provide a higher level of care for his patients. He looks forward to providing patients in the area with exceptional oral surgery services.
Education & Residency
Dr. Curiel obtained his bachelor’s degree in biology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2006. He moved to Philadelphia, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Temple University – Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2011. He then spent a year practicing general dentistry in Palm Springs, California. Dr. Curiel moved back to Philadelphia and completed his oral surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2017.

Interests
Dr. Curiel enjoys spending time with his wife Breezy, daughter Teagan, and son Colter. In his spare time, he enjoys tackling DIY projects and traveling. He also coaches his daughter’s soccer team and likes to play golf.
