The reason I wanted my implants was because I entertain, and I'm in front of an audience a lot, and so, therefore, when you smile, they can see where my teeth were missing. You learn to adjust to what you have, and so I would chew on the right side all the time, but I never realized how nice it was when you didn't have to worry about that — you could eat without thinking about it. I was not worried a bit when I came in. In fact, I had nothing but a good time when I was here. It was a lot of fun, and the team was outstanding. Everybody was pleasant, and I could tell they knew what they were doing. Dr. Barnhart was totally a professional, but at the same time, she had personality, and it was just really a pleasant experience. My recovery was so pleasant. I don't remember anything about it that was negative. If somebody said, "You have to do it again," I wouldn't even give it a second thought because it was never a burden.
